The rural regions of Germany and Europe offer a wide variety of picturesque landscapes. These range from rolling hills and wide open fields to idyllic villages. These areas are often characterised by traditional architecture, historic farms and natural surroundings. However, the pictures in this exhibition room also show modern infrastructure and smaller industries, which do exist in the countryside.
