GALERIE FARBLOS

By the Sea - United Kingdom
room 2

The climate on the British coast is temperate-oceanic and is characterised by the Gulf Stream. This brings mild winters (rarely below freezing) and moderately warm summers, but also ensures changeable, humid and windy weather with lots of precipitation all year round. The west is wetter and the south-east is milder and sunnier. Storms are particularly frequent in autumn and winter, but extreme temperatures are rare.
It is precisely this climate with the endless coastline that makes Great Britain an ideal destination for atmospheric landscape photography.
